Theremin is an early synthesizer developed by Russian physicists Leon Theremin in 1924. Its sound was controlled by moving both right and left hands around the two antennas on it. In this piece, the performer's images on the screen are using as the signal which can produce several sound. It might be a kind of software Theremin used in a different way.
테레민은 1924년 러시아의 발명가, 작곡가 테레민(Leon Theremin, 1896~1993)에 의해 개발된 초기의 신디사이저 중의 하나이다. 왼손과 오른손의 움직임 따라 음정이나 음량이 조절되도록 설계되었다. 이 작품에서는 연주자의 영상을 시그날로 사용하여 화면에서 연주자의 움직임에 따라 여러 소리들이 생성되도록 구성하었다.
